I got on a plane this morning at 6:20am after leaving my house at around 3:30am. After going to bed at 11:30 the night before. Good times.

Fortunately the buzz of actually flying for the first time in 10 years got me through it, and from the grand airport of Pittsburgh I traveled to Chicago Midway to make a connecting flight all the way down to Las Vegas.. that's in Nevada.

Now, I'm here in Vegas, sitting in the MGM Grand and waiting to actually do some of the things that we came here to do. It's 7pm back at home, and only 4pm here. This whole.. traveling endeavor is going to take a lot of getting used to, no question about that.

I will say this, though, Vegas is.. crazy. Everything here is.. large scale, rapid, etc. It's a big change from even the smaller cities that I've been to. Definitely one of those "nice place to visit, wouldn't want to live there" places.

Crummy, though, that I'm staying in the Excalibur, a fairly large hotel, and my only option for internet access is a wired plug running from a cable modem that I have to pay for. You'd think charging $200+ a night would give you the option of providing some sort of internet access for free. I guess not. :/
